Investigation is the core business of Simmon Security & Investigation Services Pte. Ltd. The Investigation Team is headed by the Managing Director S. Suppiah and Abdul Hadi Bin Mohamed Salleh, assisted by a Team of trained investigators who undergo rigorous on the job training before they are assigned cases. In all cases, investigations are conducted in the shortest period without compromising on the quality, to reduce cost. The Managing Director who had assisted the High Court in serious crimes and inquiries would lead the team in all cases and decide on what is of evidential value and as to when to end the investigation.

Clients of the firm include Multinational Corporation, Government Departments and private individuals. The investigation team led by the Managing Director had conducted investigations into patent infringements in Hong Kong and China (Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Beijing). They have also investigated into insurance frauds in Malaysia and carried out other investigations in Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand; and testified in the Indian Courts. Clients of the firm include those from Belgium, Brunei, Greece, India, Indonesia, Japan, France and the United States. In the investigations conducted the firm has achieved success in most, if not in all cases.

In Singapore, the cost of retail crime due to thefts committed by customers, employees and supplier fraud runs to millions of dollars. Besides providing security Officers, the company also provides in-house detectives to supermarkets and other outlets. The apprehension rate of shoplifters, syndicated shoplifters and those involved in other criminal cases had at all times been high. On an average the in-house detectives have made about five hundred arrests year on year involving internal thefts, shop lifting, pick-pockets, outraging of modesty and even those on the police wanted list.
